Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie may not have been friends with Jeffrey Epstein, but their parents’ involvement with him has left them in a difficult position. In the latest Epstein files, the two Princesses were named or mentioned in emails between both their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and Epstein, and their mother, Sarah Ferguson and Epstein.
It also emerged in the files that the Princesses had met Epstein with their parents, including at a reported lunch in Florida with their mother, Sarah, just days after the late convicted paedophile was released from prison for child sex offences. While Beatrice and Eugenie have not commented on the latest Epstein files or the appearance of their names in some emails, it is believed they have had a difficult time as a result of the situation.
As well as causing potential problems between the royals and their scandal-ridden parents, the Epstein files have reportedly prompted some events to distance themselves from Beatrice and Eugenie.
As reported by The Daily Mail, one source said Sarah is upset that her royal daughters have been taken “off the guest lists” for some events they would usually attend.
It is not known what events this applies to.
The source reportedly said: “Sarah is upset that their (Beatrice and Eugenie’s) names have apparently been taken off the guest lists for red-carpet and charity events.” Neither Beatrice, 37, nor Eugenie, 35, has commented on this.

Over the weekend, Eugenie was spotted attending the Art Basel 2026 in Doha, Qatar, in her role as director at Hauser and Wirth.
Beatrice, on the other hand, was spotted in public just days before the latest files were released when she attended this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Appearing in the Epstein files does not indicate any wrongdoing.
