The former Duke of York had not been visited by a Royal Family member in two months
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been visited by Prince Edward, becoming the first member of the Royal Family to visit the Duke of York since his arrest, it has been claimed.
The Duke of Edinburgh reportedly journeyed up to Wood Farm, where Andrew currently resides, and was due to stay nearby, but was forced to stay in the main house.
It is understood that Edward and his wife, Sophie, wanted to stay at Wood Farm over the Easter break, but had to change their plans because his brother is “dragging his heels”.
The former prince’s new home, Marsh Farm, has had extensive renovation work over the past month, with Andrew’s move imminent.

“Andrew has been ignored by everyone since he left Royal Lodge, including his daughters and ex-wife, who have stayed away.
“Edward has already publicly made his feelings clear when he expressed concern for the victims.
“Edward was meant to be staying at Wood Farm as he regularly books it for Easter, but his brother was there.”

Andrew was spotted yesterday meeting Edward Parsons, the Sandringham estate manager, after he made a short drive to Marsh Farm.
Protesters targeted the former Duke of York’s fence at his new home in a major security breach on Thursday.
The group climbed the former prince’s newly constructed security fence and allegedly shouted abuse at Andrew, who appeared to be visiting Marsh Farm.

Andrew has been seen on a handful of occasions since his release from Aylsham Police Station after being arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
The former prince, who is still under investigation, has previously denied any wrongdoing but has not responded to recent allegations.
Earlier this week, the former duke was seen behind the wheel of his Range Rover on the Sandringham estate.
Andrew, dressed in a maroon cable-knit sweater, had a security guard accompanying him in the passenger seat during the drive.

Over recent days, palace staff have been emptying Royal Lodge of all remaining possessions, including contents from the staff quarters where servants.
Skips filled to capacity have been hauled away from the property, while removal vehicles have been observed entering and leaving the estate.
One source told the Mirror: “Andrew was told everything had to be out and absolutely nothing was to be left behind.
“He hasn’t been back to collect anything, leaving staff to clear everything out by the weekend, and we’ve been told no trace of the former occupants or staff should remain.”
