Meghan Markle has been accused of “posturing parenting” due to one major move with sharing her children online. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are proud parents to six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet – with the couple making the decision to carefully protect their children’s privacy when it comes to sharing them with the world.
Although Meghan has shared pictures and videos of her children online since her return to social media last January, the mother-of-two has carefully crafted a way that she can still ensure that their faces remain out of the spotlight. In many pictures and video that Meghan has posted she has either had Archie and Lilibet face away from the camera or, like other people in the public eye, she carefully covers their faces with emojis.
Speaking of the decision to do so, journalist Sierra Tishgart took to TikTok to accuse the likes of Meghan of taking on “posturing parenting”.
Referring to parents such as Meghan as being smug with their decision to hide their children’s face with an array of emojis, she told her followers: “It’s visually heinous. I don’t want to see a heart emoji with legs. And it’s performative in the worst ways.
“You’re posturing parenting, while you’re also saying, ‘I’m above you, because I vaguely care about privacy.’”
Meghan was seen using the “emoji mask” during the family’s visit to Disneyland for her daughter’s fourth birthday last June.
The former working royal took to her Instagram account, @meghan, to post a family snap – with Archie and Lilibet’s faces covered by red and pink heart emojis.

Meghan recently shared a video of Archie and Lilibet in a cute Easter update.
Meghan’s videos showed them feeding their chickens, gathering eggs and watching Archie and Lilibet race on an Easter egg hunt with their dogs following.
The clips also showed Lilibet in a pink dress, holding a large stuffed bunny toy while wearing bunny ears, and Archie working on decorating his own egg.
