Sky News viewers have made their feelings clear following a bombshell update about Meghan Markle. It has been reported that the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is planning to return to the UK for the first time in four years. The former Suits actress is reportedly hoping to join her husband, Prince Harry, at a one-year countdown celebration for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham this summer.

However, their visit allegedly depends entirely on whether the couple are granted enhanced security. If approved, it would mark Meghan’s first appearance in Britain since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022. But the announcement left Sky News Australia fans raging as they raced to comment on the matter. “Nobody gives a f**k,” one bluntly stated as a second agreed: “Who the f**k cares?”

A third penned: “There’s only so much bad news a person can take since the start of the new year. If feet of snow is not bad enough, and it’s still here, it’s been reported that Meghan Markle will be visiting the U.K.”

Another echoed: “No one gives af.” Others voiced further frustrations, begging publications to stop relentlessly reporting on Meghan and Harry.

Before this, the couple had left on strained terms with the rest of Harry’s family following their decision to step down from royal duties and relocate to California with their two children, Archie, six and four-year-old Lilibet.

Harry, 41, has only returned to the UK a handful of times since his grandmother’s funeral, with his most recent visit coming in September, when he met privately with his father, King Charles, at Clarence House.

But since Harry has reportedly won his legal battle to receive tax-funded police protection in the UK, sources close to the Sussexes claim Harry is “hopeful” Meghan will join him at the event on July 10.

“Security is always going to be the deciding factor in this,” a source close to the couple told The Sun on Sunday.

Harry had been fighting to have his UK security reinstated since losing a legal battle against the Home Office in May, which ruled that he was no longer entitled to automatic protection after stepping back as a working royal.

After losing the bitter legal battle, the dad-of-two wrote to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in search of a review in September.

In December, the department requested a new risk assessment on the threat posed to Harry whenever he visits Britain, carried out by the royal and VIP executive committee (Ravec).

Prince Harry has repeatedly said he does not feel it is safe to bring his family to the UK without proper protection. It is not yet known whether Archie and Lilibet would join their parents on their visit.
