Which MAFS Australia 2026 couples are still together?
Bec and Danny – Split
Despite an emotional wedding, a rocky honeymoon and a lack of sexual chemistry, Bec and Danny fought their way through the experiment.
They made it all the way to Final Vows in Australia, but sadly for the loved-up bride, her British groom decided he was not ready to commit to their relationship away from the TV show.
She declared her love for him at the last minute, and he admitted he had “really strong feelings” for her, but it wasn’t enough and they called it quits during the very last episode, leaving Bec inconsolable.
But despite being separated, Danny and Bec still managed to cause each other drama as he was scolded following new unaired scenes of him talking about his true feelings towards Bec.
She also attacked him with her brutal words at the reunion dinner party after learning he had been texting another bride from the experiment.

Mel and Luke – Split
No one is really surprised are they? Mel and Luke struggled to connect and communicate from the moment they met and it took until week three of MAFS for them to both agree to walk away.
Since leaving the experiment, Luke has been connected to another MAFS bride from 2025, Jamie Marinos but neither of them have confirmed or denied the rumours.

Brook and Chris – Split
Despite Chris being such a critic of Married At First Sight Australia, his views changed as soon as he set eyes on his beautiful bride.
However, despite them attempting to give things a go, Brook ultimately couldn’t see past some comments her husband made about women in his audition tape.
Since then, it has become clear she wasn’t over an ex-boyfriend who she has since reconciled with. She’s now engaged to him, and pregnant with their first child. Chris and Brook have cut all contact since.
MAFS couple Alissa and David appeared to be one of 2026’s strongest couples. Picture: Channel 9
David and Alissa – Split
Their wedding day didn’t give viewers much hope after she forced him to get down on one knee and propose but things improved rapidly, with fans sure they would make it work on the outside.
Sadly, they were wrong. David and Alissa’s marriage crumbled at the last minute, with him accusing his wife of flirty behaviour during the Grass Is Greener challenge.
It totally changed his opinion of his partner and he was forced to walk away during Final Vows.
The religious reality star didn’t even stick around to hear his wife’s last words, and walked off camera.

Gia and Scott – Split
Breaking all the rules that come with MAFS, Gia confirmed she and Scott had split before she even separated with Scott on the TV show.
The mum-of-one confessed in an interview she was now dating another Australian reality TV star whom she is ‘so in love with’.
Gia and Scott’s relationship fell apart at the last minute in the show despite her declaring her love and him meeting her daughter. Poor communication, explosive arguments and trust issues eventually broke them down.
Julia and Grayson got off to a great start on MAFS 2026. Picture: Channel 9
Julia and Grayson – Split
Grayson was hopeful he could have a successful marriage just like his friend and former MAFS contestant Johnny Balbuziente but sadly, it wasn’t the fairytale ending for these two.
Julia and Grayson had an instant connection on their wedding day but things got too difficult and they left the experiment pretty early on.
They cited communication and lack of sexual spark as their reasons for splitting in week three, and Julia has now moved on with a woman.

He dropped on one knee and presented his partner with a sparkling diamond ring – and she screamed ‘yes’!

Rachel and Steven – Split
They certainly overcame a lot of hurdles after both being away from the dating scene for more than a decade.
However, Rachel’s latest interview confirmed she and Steven had split after a very “awkward” visit he paid her in Melbourne.
She explained on Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lot podcast: “On the last commitment ceremony, I expressed my concern that Steven was going to go back to his normal life, and I would become a burden and it’s going to be easier to let me go, which I very much feel like that’s what’s come to fruition.”

MAFS couples Chris and Sam didn’t make it to Final Vows. Picture: Channel Nine
Chris and Sam – Split
Chris and Sam’s sweet relationship got off to a lovely start, but the boys weren’t meant to be.
Despite sharing lots of common interests, the two fitness instructors couldn’t make their partnership work and communication issues, defensiveness and emotional disconnects all contributed to their downfall.
After filming wrapped, Sam revealed he was hurt by some of Chris’s comments, while the expectant dad said the pressure of his life off-camera became too much, making it hard to put all his energy into his marriage inside the experiment.

Stephanie and Tyson – Split
Estate agent Stephanie met ex-military man Tyson thinking they were the perfect match, but as soon as he opened his mouth the pair began to clash.
Their marriage never really got off the ground and they consistently disagreed over topics like same-sex relationships, how many sexual partners was ‘acceptable’ and women having successful careers.
At the fourth commitment ceremony it all came to a head, which ended with Stephanie throwing her wedding ring to the ground and the two called it quits for good.
Steph was later brought to the forefront of the drama when she attended the dinner party reunion and was accused of texting Danny bikini photos.
Joel and Juliette didn’t last the distance on MAFS Australia. Picture: Channel Nine
Joel and Juliette – Split
Joel and Juliette seemed well-matched on their wedding day as she was after a “goofy” groom who could laugh at himself.
But he was all ‘a bit much’ for his bride, who got the “ick” after seeing a video of him drumming on YouTube.
She walked out mid-commitment ceremony a few weeks in and left her husband and her marriage in the dust.
As for Joel, he wasn’t too heartbroken either, revealing after Juliette’s exit: “I’m very happy with the way it ended. It needed to end because she was very toxic to be around.”
