Love Island’s latest recoupling has fans convinced they’ve already spotted the WINNERS—and it all comes down to one couple who just won’t budge.
Love Island recoupling “reveals” winners as fans make same remark
A steady pairing.
Love Island viewers believe they know who will win the ongoing series of the ITV2 dating show after another recoupling shook up the Villa. This Tuesday’s (14 July) episode saw the girls choose to recouple with a boy of their choice, highlighting the show’s strongest connections.
Angelista & Simba, Jasmine & Kavan, Mica & Samraj, and Julia & Lorenzo were some of the few islanders who showed no hesitation in partnering up, but it was Yasmin’s declaration to Tommy that left fans at home believing they had every chance to win.
Yasmin first coupled up with Tommy during Casa Amor amid her romance with Lorenzo, who was exploring his own connection with Julia. Prior to coupling up Tommy, she’d shared her frustration with Lorenzo’s lack of affection towards her and was shocked to discover he’d locked lips with Julia behind her back.
However, Yasmin’s romance with Lorenzo became a part of the past as soon as Tommy entered the picture. Since bonding with Tommy, he and Yasmin have remained inseparable, with viewers pointing out they were less present on their screens as their bond grew stronger.
Over on X, many viewers have revealed that Yasmin and Tommy are now strong contenders for the Love Island victory, while another viewer demanded for Yasmin to take home the £50k cash prize. A third pointed out how natural their connection even looked, but a skeptical fan still doubted the pair were being genuine.
The latest developments come after a tense love triangle between Ellie, Elicia and Finley. Entering the Villa as a bombshell alongside Ethan, Elicia set her sights on Lorenzo, Tommy and Finley, before eventually locking lips with the latter.
During a previous recoupling, Ethan and Elicia were asked to steal a girl and a boy of their choice, prompting Elicia to pick Finley and leaving Ellie both devastated and vulnerable.

But just when she believed her connection with Finley would blossom, Elicia was disgruntled when Finley held her at arm’s length by opting to sleep in the Daybeds instead of sharing a bed with her.
Questioned on the move, Finley claimed he didn’t want to upset Ellie, but the mixed signals were enough for Elicia to doubt the connection.
This Tuesday (14 July), Finley was reprimanded by Samraj, Aidan and Tommy, who all pointed out his behaviour was having a widespread impact within the Villa. Following the stern chat, Finley made a decision he seemed ready not to go back on.
After admitting to Ellie that she was his priority, Finley took Elicia to the Sundeck to put an end to their relationship. But she struggled to believe he and Ellie could work out on the outside.
Love Island continues this Wednesday (15 July) from 9pm on ITV2.
