Love Island viewers were left reeling after a dramatic twist saw two islanders ruthlessly dumped from the Villa, bringing an abrupt end to their search for romance under the sunny skies of Spain.

Following days of mounting tensions, shifting loyalties and heated confrontations, Ope and Victoria became the latest contestants to leave the ITV dating series, with fans taking to social media to share their reactions to the shock departure.

While the game started out in good spirits, dares got bolder and the truths became more revealing, hinting at the possibility of another storm. The mood began to shift when Jasmine stated her belief that Ope was the one who was most seeking fame from the series.

Moments later, Victoria was tasked to reveal a red flag about Ope, and a row quickly ensued as she called him a “bit of a liar,” adding fuel to the growing fire. The biggest spat, however, came when the group had to rank each couple by their connection.

What followed was a passionate debate as islanders settled into position – but their game was shaken up by a surprise text announcing that Victoria and Ope had to leave the Villa after being picked as the couple with the weakest connection.

The twist came after Victoria had begun to explore her growing connection with Sam, shortly after he and Namibia decided to call it quits. Sam wasted no time in bringing Victoria to the Hideaway, where the pair shared another kiss.

Elsewhere, Lorenzo and Yasmin shared a private conversation, leaving Aidan uneasy as he observed them from afar with Ope. Sparks were flying as Lorenzo and Yasmin agreed that they wanted to explore their connection – but will Yasmin really dump Aidan?
