LOVE Island fans were left fuming at islander Charlie Frederick after he made a “cocky” comment about his love triangle with Millie Court and Jess Harding.

The personal trainer is caught in the middle of the two beauties currently, despite coupling up with Millie during last night’s show.

Talking to Jess Harding, Charlie told her with a smirk: ‘I can’t help it if you both fancy me’
Charlie’s decision to couple up with Millie came just hours after he shared a secret kiss with Jess on the terrace.

And after getting a hard time for playing the field, Charlie told Jess later on in the evening: “I can’t help it if you both fancy me”.

Following this comment, fans took to social media to slam him as “cocky” for the behaviour.

One said: “’I can’t help it if you both fancy me’. Someone humble this man I beg”.

“Charlie is so angry, he can’t have his cake and eat it,” said a second.

Another fan wrote: “Charlie hates accountability gosh”.

Others branded the star “narcissistic” in scathing tweets.

Despite the fact they were excited to couple up with one another, Charlie and Millie’s coupling didn’t stay sweet for two long after she found out about his kiss with Jess shortly after.

After learning of his extra-curricular activities with Jess, Millie told him there would be no kissing and cuddling in bed even though they’re now a couple after all of this.

She also told him to figure out his sh*t.

The following day, Millie decided she was not going to share a bed with Charlie amid the triangle confusion.

Despite appearing furious with the decision, Charlie obliged and ended up sleeping in one of the villa’s pull out single beds.

Now, while Jess has claimed she is taking herself out of the triangle, it seems Charlie could be left with no-one – as Millie admitted during tonight’s show that the situation was giving her “the ick”.
