Love Island fans are buzzing after the official final date was revealed — and there’s barely any time left in the villa

Love Island final date revealed – and it’s just weeks away

LOVE Island is almost over for another summer – with the final date for this year’s series just around the corner.

The Sun can exclusively reveal the date of this year’s last Love Island episode – and you don’t have long to wait.

While the villa action wrapped up in early August last year, our villa insiders tell us the winners will instead be crowned on Monday July 27 this year.

A source tells us: “There is around two and a half weeks of villa action left for this series, with the finale airing on the 27th.

“ITV won’t confirm the exact date until the middle of next week but it’s locked in for then.

“At this stage, it’s still unpredictable which couple will be named the winners.

“At one point it seemed like Fitzy and Lola would be the runaway favourites, but since Casa that has shifted somewhat.

“It’s really a wide-open race at this point.”

A number of couples are still in with a shot at taking home the prize.

Kavan and Jasmine’s rekindled romance potentially stands a chance as does OG pairing, Samraj and Mica.

Fan favourites Lorenzo and Julia have also seen themselves hotly tipped to make it all the way.

Last year, it was Toni Laites and Cach Mercer who dominated the final and ended up being crowned as the champions of the show.

The pair were one of the show’s strongest couples but ended up calling time on their romance earlier this year.

They found themselves locked in an explosive row at the Brit Awards in March and their relationship quickly crumbled for good afterwards.
