AN axed Casa Amor lad from Love Island has spoken out about what really happens on the show, and how producers told him off.
The finger wagging moment wasn’t aired on telly, but the star, who appeared on the 2024 series, explained how he felt a bit bored between filming for the programme and did something spontaneous.

Heartthrob Joel Kirby was one of six bombshells to stir up trouble in the rival villa on season 11 of the hit ITV show.
Taking to TikTok, the former star filled fans in on some juicy moments from the show that they didn’t see air.
“So when I went on, you’re only filming for about five hours a day – an hour and a half in the morning, an hour and a half after lunch, and about two hours after dinner,” he explained.
“The rest of the time you’re just chilling with the boys not allowed to talk to the girls, not allowed to talk about the show at all. Literally just vibing.”

“Which is genuinely weird because you’ve gone on a show to meet someone and you’re spending most of the day playing cards with a bunch of lads.”
Joel then funnily revealed what he did while he was bored between filming, saying: “You kinda get so bored I tried backflipping into the pool and got shouted at.”
The reality star also noted that no one on the shows tells you who to talk to so “the chats are real, the conversations are real, and you choose who you want to spend time with.”
Though the bit Joel would consider partly staged is that when filming starts back up, contestants are told to “spread themselves around the villa“.
Joel was confirmed to be one of the Casa Amor bombshells arriving in the villa in the 2024 series.
At the time he had recently graduated from university with a degree in International development.
He funded his own tuition through running an OnlyFans account and co-hosting the All Gains No Game podcast with Jacob Ward.
He also appeared on an episode of Below Deck season 9 in 2024 as a guest character.
