Isla is Peter Phillips’s youngest daughter and has previously been likened to her aunt Zara Tindall, grandmother Princess Anne and great-grandfather Prince Philip

he royal family were out in full force on Easter Sunday, with many fans noticing the younger generation stepping out to mark the occasion.

It was a particularly special day for Princess Anne‘s son Peter, who attended the Easter service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle with his fiancee Harriet Sperling, his two daughters Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, whom he shares with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly, and Harriet’s daughter, Georgina, 13.

The girls’ coordinating ensembles signalled a shared confidence

Pictured entering and leaving the church, led by King Charles and Queen Camilla, the children appeared to be colour-coordinating, with Isla and Savannah both wearing navy while their soon-to-be stepsister Georgia opted for a navy top with gold buttons.

Peter’s youngest daughter, Isla, has previously been likened to her grandmother, Anne, and once again sparked comparisons to her great-grandfather, Prince Philip, the late husband of Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Philip’s lookalike

It wasn’t long before eagle-eyed fans pointed out the uncanny resemblance between Isla and Philip, sharing side-by-side images that highlighted similarities in their face shapes and eyes.

“The resemblance between these two is crazy!” wrote one person on Instagram, while another said: “She does look a lot like her great-grandfather.”

Others suggested she looks more like her aunt Zara Tindall, with one adding: “She resembles her grandmother, the Princess Royal, in her younger days, as well as her aunt Zara Tindall. It runs in the family.”

Isla has also been likened to her grandmother and aunt

Isla enjoys a close relationship with Zara, Peter’s sister, and is often spotted with Zara and her husband Mike Tindall at royal events. Speaking on a podcast, Zara reflected on their shared interest in horses, saying: “Both my nieces ride and they’re really into it at the moment.”

In January, the young royal was pictured enjoying the horse races at Cheltenham, where she cheered alongside her sister Savannah and cousins Mia and Lena Tindall.

Isla’s relationship with Philip

Isla’s great-grandfather passed away on 9 April 2021, aged 99. While some family members were unable to attend his funeral due to Covid restrictions, his memorial service in 2022 fell on Isla’s tenth birthday, allowing the family to pay their respects.
