The Traitors star reveals hit show is coming to an end NEXT WEEK after seven years

A STAR of The Traitors has revealed their hit show is coming to an end next week after seven years.

Ed Gamble has hosted spin off show The Traitors Uncloaked since 2024, as well as last year’s Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked.

The comedian also has a hit podcast with fellow comic James Acaster called Off Menu, and he co-hosts a Radio X show on Sundays with another of his comedy pals, Matthew Crosby.

However, the pair revealed on today’s Radio X broadcast that their show would be coming to and end next Sunday, after seven years on air.

Matthew said it was a “sad announcement, melancholy announcement, bittersweet announcement.”

Meanwhile Ed joked they had “made our point. We never truly have gotten to grips with [the show]. And we’ve decided that seven years, really, you’ve got to cut it off at some point.”

He continued to joke that: “top brass have come to us and said, ‘Guys, the probation period is over. This is … it’s not working.’”

But Ed then became serious and said: “This is our decision to move on. We genuinely feel like we’ve done everything that we can do.”

The news left fans of the show gutted, with one writing on social media: “Devastating news this morning.”

Another added alongside references to the pair’s aliases and the fact they always joked they had the “thickest listeners in radio”: “This show is genuinely the highlight of my week every week, which I guess makes me a saddo as well as a thicko?

“I’m going to miss Crunch and Crumble so much (and Vin… maybe Vin most of all).”

Radio X is yet to confirm a replacement for the Ed Gamble and Matthew Crosby Show.
