Meghan Markle was pictured shopping for Easter gifts for her two children in California this week. The 44-year-old stepped out near her home in Montecito on Wednesday, where she was seen likely preparing for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s Easter baskets.
Browsing a local toy store in her hometown, Meghan bought Magic Rabbit playing cards and Magic Castle Sea Monkeys during the low-key outing. The former working royal is a proud mum to son Archie, who will turn seven next month, and four-year-old daughter Lilibet.
Speaking of Meghan’s latest shopping trip, a source told PEOPLE: “She was picking up Easter gifts for her kids and her godchildren. She was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections.”
A throwback purchase, Sea Monkeys was a popular children’s toy between the 1960s and 1990s.
The royal has previously made sure that Archie and Lilibet enjoy the Easter break, with her seen preparing an Easter Egg hunt for her son in 2021.
A heavily-pregnant Meghan was seen in the couple’s garden at their home in Monetcito in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 2022 Netflix docuseries.
The couple moved to California in 2020, when their son was less than a year-old. They later welcomed their daughter the following year.

Speaking to PEOPLE last year, Meghan shared the community have become protective of her young family.
She said: “Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.”
Meghan and Harry have recently been on a skiing trip with their children. Meghan shared a video on Instagram of her husband and Archie showing off their ski skills.
