Man arrested after woman found injured in Ferntree Gully home dies

A man is in custody after a woman found injured inside a home died, despite the efforts of first responders to save her.

An woman has died after she was found injured inside a Melbourne home.

Police were called to a property on Ferntree Gully Rd in Melbourne’s southeast and found the injured woman just before 10am on Friday.

Officers performed CPR, but she could not be saved and died at the scene.
