EXCLUSIVE: Farmer Wants A Wife’s Alex Drops a Major Bombshell About His Relationship With Eddy
Farmer Wants A Wife fans are very well aware at this point that Farmer Alex has eyes for Eddy and no one else, despite having two other women on his farm – Rachel and Suzannah.
After Rachel accidentally caught Alex and Eddy locked in a passionate kiss, she made it her mission to confront him. She needed to know if his mind was already made up, or if the rest of them actually stood a chance.
“There’s a part of me that can’t stop thinking that your mind is already made up in Eddy,” she told him.
“Eddy and I have connected. But there’s still time left, and if I was gonna walk, I’d walk,” he replied. “I’m not closed off, is what I’m saying. Don’t worry.”
However, the conversation meant nothing when he still chose Eddy for the next single date, despite having spent the most alone time with her.
An exasperated Rachel didn’t hold back: “I think that actions speak louder than words. I don’t wanna be with someone who says one thing, but their actions speak another.”
Fans are entirely on Rachel’s side, taking to social media to slam the farmer for dragging out the process.
“Why keep the other girls around?” one person questioned. “He’s clearly going to pick her.”
Yet another agreed, “Yep send the others home. Stop prolonging the agony.”
‘I would hope the girls are OK’
Speaking to WHO about Rachel and Suzannah watching the show and realising how into Eddy he was, Alex told us, “I don’t think it would be pleasant for any of them to watch.”
“I can’t imagine they’re enjoying it,” the mushroom farmer added. “I didn’t get a chance to really get to know how resilient and how thick each of their skins were, but I don’t know if at the age that we all were – anywhere from 25 to 30 – I don’t know if you’re equipped to see something like this play out on screen, so I would hope the girls are OK, and I’m sure they’ve all got great support networks.
“I know it’s been OK for me, but I think I get the easiest role in this whole thing.”
Well, well, well, it sounds like Alex doesn’t really know much about the other girls, does it?
Sounds like he stuck to his guns and chose Eddy at the end!

Rumours Alex leaves the farm for love
As if his telling words weren’t enough of a giveaway, a massive new rumour suggests Alex and Eddy are definitely together—and making history.
According to New Idea, Alex might actually do something no farmer on the show has done before and leave his farm for the woman he loves.
“Alex has fallen hard,” a source close to the couple revealed to the publication, adding that he is planning to move to Brisbane.
“Everyone expected the girl would eventually move for him, but the conversations have actually gone the other way.”
According to sources, Alex can run the farm at a distance, because “his family are heavily involved already”.
“His dad is often at the farm and serves customers regularly. Farmer Alex isn’t walking away from the business completely, but he’s realised there are ways to manage things from afar.”
Eddy is a Brisbane-based lawyer, so is this yet another clue that he has chosen her?
Apparently, Alex doesn’t want his partner to have to “choose between love and her profession” and is willing to move cities to make it work.
Between the single dates, the onscreen chemistry, and the relocation rumours, it’s safe to say the mystery of who Alex chooses is officially solved.
