Two pedestrians are fighting for life after being struck by a car at a busy crossing in Sydney’s south-west.
Police were told a woman, believed to be in her 30s, and a man, believed to be in his 60s, were hit by a white Toyota on The Boulevarde in Lakemba before 1pm on Tuesday.

The woman was rushed to Liverpool Hospital, while the man was taken to St George Hospital.
Both were in a critical condition with severe head injuries.
An 82-year-old man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Three other pedestrians were crossing the road at the time, but they were not injured.
Police have appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
