The Prince and Princess of Wales matched up as they dazzled for the cameras
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have hit the red carpet for the Baftas just days after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest.
The royal couple suited up for the show at the Royal Festival Hall in London for the annual film awards this afternoon.
It is the first public appearance as a couple since the former Duke of York’s arrest over suspicions of misconduct in public office.
The Princess of Wales has not attended the Baftas for the last three years due to her cancer diagnosis and treatment, which followed.

The royal’s outing comes just a few days after William’s uncle, Andrew, was arrested, with King Charles having to issue a statement after hearing about the news.
His majesty wrote: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.
“What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales are understood to support the King’s statement.

Searches have continued at Andrew’s previous home, Royal Lodge, over the weekend after conclusions at Wood Farm, where the former duke currently resides.
Andrew spent 11 hours in police custody on Thursday, being pictured leaving Aylsham Police Station.
The former prince became the first senior royal in modern history to be arrested, and is accused of sharing sensitive information with Epstein while serving as the UK’s trade envoy.
Andrew has denied any wrongdoing over his Epstein links, but has not directly responded to the latest allegations.
