On Sunday, Feb. 8, Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots.
While football is the main event of the Super Bowl, the commercials that run during the game take only a slight backseat to the action. Now, one Super Bowl ad, the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial, is already drawing attention, and the game hasn’t even started yet.

In the old days, you’d have to wait until the actual game to watch Super Bowl commercials. But, that’s not the case anymore. Many advertisers released their commercials early online, to give viewers a taste of what they’ll see during the big game.
So, the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial 2026 is here, and people can’t get enough of it. In fact, Pamela N. Danziger of Forbes says it will be the “most popular Super Bowl commercial in 2026.”

Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial 2026
Anheuser-Busch, according to Ad Week research, is the No. 1 Super Bowl advertiser once again in 2026. This year alone, the beer company will have 2.5 minutes of national airtime to promote its Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra brands. This year is even bigger for the brand, because it marks company’s 150th anniversary and coincides with the United State’s 250th year.
The Budweiser Super Bowl commercial for 2026 features the Clydesdales and shows them forming a heartwarming relationship with a bald eagle to the sound of “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
“As we celebrate Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday, we knew we had to rise to the occasion in a way only Budweiser can,” Todd Allen, senior vice president of marketing for Budweiser, said in a statement. “This year’s spot will leave fans awestruck and proud to enjoy a Budweiser as they celebrate our shared milestone moments.”
Why the Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial for 2026 is a Winner
“Commercials that unite people across generations, ethnicities and political persuasions tend to resonate most,” Danziger states, adding that the ad’s theme of “American Icons” is uniting.
So, the message of this commercial is one of unity, and that’s a beautiful thig. That especially the case during a time when people are so divided.

The ad also has a nostalgic appeal. “Ads that hearken back to simpler times also tend to rate higher,” Danziger notes in the piece, published on Sunday, Feb. 1. “Use of nostalgia has trended from just 28% in 2015 Super Bowl ads to over 45% most recently.”
Danziger adds, “This will be the 48th Budweiser Super Ad that features Clydesdales, so beyond the nostalgic appeal of the ad’s farm, barn and country setting, the Clydesdale itself lends a nostalgic element.”
