m A Celebrity South Africa‘s chaotic live final was reviewed on Gogglebox last night (May 1) and Channel 4’s cast of armchair critics didn’t disappoint.

Adam Thomas won the Legend crown last Friday night (April 24), after an explosive on-air bust-up sparked by Jimmy Bullard. David Haye, naturally, also got involved.

Their outbursts somewhat overshadowed Adam’s win, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly struggling to keep control over goings on.

Now, the cast of Gogglebox have given their take on the explosive on-air shenanigans…

While Jimmy Bullard’s anger intensified on screen best friends Jenny and Lee looked aghast. “‘Take a break, take a break, we’re going to go into a break,’” Lee quipped into a fake earpiece, mimicking hosts Ant and Dec.

As Sinitta stormed off stage, Giles declared: “Sinitta’s leaving Mary!”

“This is absolutely phenomenal,” said Sophie to brother Pete.

New mum Helena noticed how upset Adam looked and quipped: “You know what that sad man needs? A crown.”

‘Most awkward thing I’ve ever watched’

Pete and Sophie also reacted to Adam’s crowning moment as jungle star Sam Thompson was given the honour of presenting it to Adam.

“And now he’s got Sam Thompson presenting the crown,” Sophie quipped, as Pete added: “Could it get any worse?” “He’s been through enough,” Sophie joked.

Friends Daniella and Danielle declared: “It’s the most awkward thing I’ve ever watched. Adam is the most unhappy I’m A Celebrity finalist I’ve ever seen.”

Pete concluded: “Usually they set the fireworks off afterwards, not before!”
