Australian comedian Wil Anderson has announced happy news, leaving his audience unable to hide their emotions

After a long period of keeping his private life out of the spotlight, Australian comedian Wil Anderson (52) has finally confirmed his relationship with actress and writer Tamzen Hayes.

This public debut comes approximately two years after the artist ended his two-decade-long partnership with his former partner, Amy Williamson, in 2023. Unlike Anderson’s relative silence on his personal social media, Tamzen Hayes chose to share the happy news with fans through a series of sweet black-and-white photos on Instagram, marking their two-year milestone.

The Neighbours actress captioned the series of memories: “2 years ❤️ @officialwilanderson”. These photos not only captured the couple sharing a kiss under the moonlight but also showcased their shared experiences, from a trip to Western Australia and attending the Spilt Milk music festival to simple daily moments like cooking at home.

The news has been met with warm support from the online community. Many fans have sent their congratulations, with one comment praising: “So happy for you both!! You are perfect together ❤️ 💖 💕 💛”. Another user commented: “Congratulations lovers! ❤️,” and did not hesitate to label the duo a “Power couple 🥰🔥”.

Although Tamzen Hayes has been open about the relationship, Wil Anderson has yet to post any images of his new girlfriend on his personal Instagram account.

Reflecting on the past, Wil Anderson’s 20-year relationship with Amy Williamson previously drew significant attention, especially as the pair experienced a brief breakup in 2007. Also in 2023, the year they announced their split, media reported that Anderson sold his Vaucluse, Sydney home for over $4 million—a property he had purchased for $1.35 million in 2006.

Currently, both Anderson and Hayes appear to be based in Melbourne, where the actress is focusing on the original stage show Soap Opera Tonight at the Burned Dinner Theatre.
