His engagement reveal comes amid a scandal surrounding the show after it was rocked by abuse allegations.

Bob is not understood to be connected to the allegations.

Uploading the snaps online, Bob’s partner Stephanie said: “Officially going from Miss to Mrs.”

Their MAFS co-stars were quick to send their congratulations to the pair.

Bob was paired with Megan Wolfe on the programme when he took part in the 2021 series of the controversial E4 programme.

Despite a positive start between them, they faced a major cheating scandal when Megan kissed another groom, Jordan Mundell, behind Bob’s back.

This led to an explosive fall-out at one of the show’s notorious dinner parties.

The pair ultimately decided to leave the experiment during the third commitment ceremony.

Although they were no longer involved romantically, the two managed to remain friends outside of the show.

Bob’s engagement comes after MAFS has been rocked by abuse allegations after show participants came forward with their claims.

A Panorama special, ‘The Dark Side of Married At First Sight‘ aired on the BBC last night and featured bombshell allegations.

One bride, who is known as Lizzie to protect her anonymity, alleged her on-screen husband raped her and threatened to throw acid at her.

She told how she “froze with fear” during the alleged attack, which left her with visible fingerprints where he had grabbed her.

Chloe, another victim whose name has been changed to protect her identity, told bosses she was raped before her series was aired.

She told how both she and her on-screen husband had been engaging in consensual sex, but he had proceeded on one occasion after she said no.

As well as this, Shona Manderson, who appeared on MAFS back in 2023 for the eighth series and was partnered with Bradley Skelly, said she had an abortion after claiming Bradley ejaculated inside her without permission.

The former TV star claimed experts had separately picked up on her partner’s controlling way of speaking to her at the time of the incident.

She told how she later went to get the morning-after pill while accompanied by one of the show’s welfare producers.

Since the airing of the documentary, there’s been calls for MAFS to be cancelled completely.

Channel 4 have taken down all episodes of the dating show from all of their streaming platforms.
