Prince Harry’s latest return to the UK has reignited speculation over whether he will meet King Charles. According to royal experts, any potential reunion between the Duke of Sussex and the monarch would be carefully managed by palace officials, with aides reportedly remaining close by throughout the conversation. Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich claimed that any interaction between Harry and the King would be meticulously organised to protect the monarchy’s interests.

She suggested that Palace courtiers are likely to oversee every aspect of a meeting, with the focus placed on safeguarding the institution rather than encouraging an emotional family reconciliation. Fordwich also told Fox News that reconciliation between father and son has become difficult because palace aides and other senior royals “don’t trust Harry” alone with Charles.
Shortly after arriving in the UK alone after much back and forth over his accommodation arrangements and whether Meghan Markle and their two children would accompany him, it was announced that Prince Harry had lost his High Court privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL). He started a week of engagements with an event in London on Tuesday for the Invictus Games. He landed in the UK just hours after his accommodation offer at Buckingham Palace was revoked.
