Victorian truck driver Caleb Beeby has claimed victory in Australian Survivor: Redemption.
In what proved to be a chaotic finale, Caleb, 28, was crowned the winner over Sydney-based professional wrestler Jackson Goonrey at the final tribal council.
Caleb shocked viewers and campmates by winning the final immunity challenge and then using his power to eliminate his closest ally, Lauren ‘Loz’ Mac.
Throughout the series, Caleb became known for shifting allegiances, with the reality star giving himself the nickname ‘Chaos’.
Speaking to host David Genat after his $500,000 win, Caleb said that Survivor was a game he was born to play.
‘Do you think this game was tailor-made for you?’ David asked.

In what proved to be quite a chaotic finale, Caleb, 28, was crowned winner over Sydney-based pro wrestler Jackson Goonrey in the final tribal council
Caleb replied: ‘It actually is, man. I’ve always loved being a wild card, I’ve always loved survival, and it was just in a big nutshell for me. I can’t believe it took me this long to go.’
The reality star also admitted that being the Australian Survivor champion was much more than the title and prize money.
‘Being crowned Sole Survivor is not just a title, it’s an identity, and I’ll be sitting here waiting… keeping the crown warm until the next person can come and take it off my head,’ he said.
Fans were quick to flood social media following the finale, with many praising Caleb for his clever gameplay.
‘Jackson was better at expressing but Caleb had greater gameplay,’ one viewer wrote.
Another chimed in with: ‘@calebbeebybruh won because he played a better game than Jackson. He is real and authentic.
‘He expressed his pitch the best he could. We all know he deserved to win. Kudos to Mark and Loz! @calebbeebybruh YOU DESERVE IT!’
A third added that they knew Caleb had something special from day one.

‘From the start of the game, Caleb stood out to me, under that loud, chaotic energy, I could just tell he was a genuine good guy,’ they wrote.
‘The more I learned about Caleb, the more his story resonated with me. Couldn’t be happier about the win. Well done, Caleb!’
The praise didn’t end there, either, with one fan saying that Caleb well and truly lived up to the series’ tagline.
‘Chaos Caleb all the way!!! Well done, well deserved! Outplayed, outlasted and outwitted for sure!! Enjoy your new ventures in life Caleb,’ they wrote.
It wasn’t all praise, however, with one viewer suggesting that Caleb might not have been victorious had it not been for ‘coaching’ by eliminated contestants Mark Warnock and Loz Mac.
‘If Mark and Loz weren’t helping and encouraging Caleb during the pitch, he wouldn’t have won,’ they wrote.
Another agreed, offering: ‘Yep, Mark leading and pushing – unfortunately it worked.’
A third suggested that Mark’s assistance was ‘unfair’ to Jackson.

‘I’m sure Mark, as the mayor of the jury villa, had enough time to influence the other members – but helping Caleb with his pitch was too much and not fair to Jackson,’ they said.
However, one viewer was quick to point out that no rules were broken.
‘He’s allowed to do that! And if Caleb didn’t impress him so much with his gameplay, then Mark wouldn’t have done it.’
Elsewhere in the episode, host David Genat revealed details about the long-running series’ next iteration.
‘In 2027, Survivor will be back,’ he confirmed.
’24 new players taking on a world-first theme a world-first theme in a brand-new location, in a brand-new location, Malaysia.’
