KATE, William and their kids led the way in Windsor as the royals gathered for a first public outing since Andrew’s arrest.

Princess Charlotte, ten, grinned and gave a sweet wave as she walked with siblings George, 12, and Louis, seven, for Easter Sunday service today.

Camilla and Charles arrived by car and the King gave young Louis an affectionate and warm pat on the shoulder as he led the royals into St George’s Chapel for the Easter Matins service.

Kate, who was attending the service for the first time in three years, wore a recycled dress – an oatmeal number she previously adorned during a visit to the Royal College of Midwives in 2022.

Meanwhile, disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who both attended last year, were not invited.

Instead, the former Duke of York was spotted yesterday walking his dogs alone in Sandringham.

Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands Edo and Jack, also all stayed away with the King’s blessings.

Charlotte was in a tan coat and Kate wore an off-white ensemble featuring a skirt, smart jacket and leafy hat.

William and the boys instead opted for dark blue suits and ties.

Camilla arrived in a red wool dress and coat by Fiona Clare, a hat by Phillip Treacy and a broach which belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The King and Queen arrived by car in front of the castle to a shout of “God save the King” from the crowd this morning.

The Waleses missed the service last year as they were spending the weekend with their children in Norfolk.

They were also absent in 2024 as it came just over a week after Kate released an emotional video message disclosing that she had started a course of preventative chemotherapy.

But NHS nurse Harriet Sperling walked hand-in-hand with her husband-to-be Peter Philips.

She also brought along her 15-year-old daughter Georgina from a previous marriage for her first major royal outing.

Peter and Harriet, who announced they will wed in June, also brought along his two daughters Savannah and Isla.

Other royals included Princess Anne, Sir Tim Laurence, Prince Edward and James Earl of Wessex.

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, was added to the list of major royals who missed the bash.

Meanwhile, Eugenie and Beatrice made “alternative plans”, opting against appearing together for the first time since the Epstein files dropped.

The Princesses have been given the King’s blessing to miss the event along with their husbands Edo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank.

Palace sources insist Bea, 37, and Eugenie, 36, who both attended Christmas Day at Sandringham, will attend future family events.

Beatrice’s choice to step back from public Easter celebrations comes as no surprise to royal insider Ingrid Seward.

The Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine told The Sun that the “sensitive” Princess will undoubtedly be struggling.

She said: “Princess Beatrice was always close to her dad and witnessing his epic downfall would have destroyed her.

“Beatrice is very sensitive, and, as witnessed by her recent visit to her ostracised dad at Sandringham, she is very kind.

“She would also worry like mad about her mother, Sarah Ferguson, who has always confided in her.”
