rince Harry once claimed his brother, Prince William, screamed and shouted at him during a meeting about Megxit.
January 8 marks six years since Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, announced they were stepping away from their working royal roles. They made the announcement in 2020.
Since stepping away from royal life, Harry and Meghan have opened up about their experience within the monarchy on multiple occasions. This included in their Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, which aired on the streaming giant in late 2022.
During episode five of the six-part series, Prince Harry alleged his brother became angry during a meeting.

Prince Harry claimed William ‘screamed’ in his face
During the episode, Harry spoke about a January 2020 meeting he had with his family at Sandringham following the announcement he would be stepping away from life as a working royal.
It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me and my father say things that were simply not true.
Harry attended the meeting alone, as Meghan wasn’t invited, something Harry claimed was “deliberate”.
The Duke of Sussex explained that he went into the meeting and was given some options.
‘It was very terrifying’
Harry then explained that option one was “all in” and option five was “all out”.
He then said that he chose option three, which was “half in, half out”. This meant he and Meghan could have their own jobs, but continue to support his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
“But it became very clear that goal was not up for discussion or debate,” Harry said. “It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me and my father say things that were simply not true.”
“And, my grandmother quietly sit there and sort of take it all in,” he added.

Harry talks William ‘rift’
The Duke of Sussex then continued, explaining the queen’s alleged standpoint on his exit.
“You have to understand that from the family’s perspective, especially from hers, there are ways of doing things,” he said. “And her ultimate mission, goal, slash responsibility is the institution.”
He then continued, expressing sadness over how his royal exit damaged his relationship with his brother.
“The saddest part of it was this wedge created between myself and my brother,” he said. “So that he’s now on the institution side. And part of that I get, I understand, that’s his inheritance.
“So to some extent, it’s already ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the survivability and the continuation of the institution.”
Years on, and it’s believed William and Harry’s relationship remains strained.
Harry met with his father, King Charles, last September for a private tea at Clarence House in London.
However, according to reports, William didn’t join the meeting.
