Actor Alan Ritchson hasn’t had the best week, but things have quickly turned around for him. He has taken to social media to announce an exciting update on Reacher Season 4, teasing that it will be the “best season yet” for fans.
Sharing a video of himself in the ADR booth on Instagram, Ritchson wrote, “Happy to be back in the booth after such a crazy week! That’s a wrap for me on post-production — Reacher Season 4. This is, without a doubt the most gripping season yet. I think we hit our stride. Firing on all cylinders… as it were.”

Alan Ritchson’s Back on Track After His “Crazy Week”
Without getting into specifics, Ritchson’s mention of a “crazy week” is most certainly referencing the incident that happened with a neighbor of the Reacher star over the weekend. On Sunday, video footage emerged online that appeared to show Ritchson striking a downed neighbor multiple times. By Monday, another video, apparently from a body cam Ritchson was wearing, showed much more from the incident, providing a clearer picture of what really happened.
In the video, Ritchson’s neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, seemingly confronted the hulking actor about speeding on a motorcycle through the neighborhood. It appeared that Taylor stepped onto the road in front of Ritchson to block his path, at which point Taylor allegedly shoved Ritchson off of his bike. It was after that when Ritchson began striking Taylor, and a police investigation has since determined that no charges will be filed. Ritchson’s actions were considered to be self-defense, and he opted not to pursue charges against Taylor.
Reacher Season 4 Should Debut Later This Year

While Reacher Season 4 has not yet been given an official premiere date on Prime Video, the wait is not expected to be much longer. Earlier this month, Ritchson confirmed that the new season should be coming out sometime in 2026. As he did in his newest video, Ritchson similarly teased that Season 4 is the best of the series so far, further generating anticipation.
“Well, we finished shooting Season 4 of Reacher. It’s by far the best season we’ve had yet, so it’s coming. It’ll be out this year,” he told Collider.
He added, “I feel like the way the presidents come out of the White House looking gray and old, that’s how I feel each year doing Reacher. I feel like 10 lifetimes have been lived. So for me to be a week away, it’s like I see the light at the end of the tunnel… [Season 4] is so different and so unexpected, and it is for sure the best season we’ve ever made, by a long shot. So I’m very excited for people to see this.”
Reacher is streaming on Prime Video, though Season 4 does not yet have a premiere date.
