The report states that Jimenez, 34, was traveling with his musicians to a scheduled concert when the light aircraft went down near Paipa Airport in Colombia’s Tundama Province.

Hours before boarding the fatefl flight, Jimenez shared what would become his final Instagram message. As soon as the news of the crash and his death started flooding the internet, his final post has since drawn an outpouring of grief from fans around the world.

“Always stay humble, because what God gives, He can also take away,” he wrote.

Following news of the crash, fans returned to the post, calling it haunting and heartbreaking.

Many described the message as a final reminder of Jimenez’s humility and faith. One fan wrote in tribute, “God have you in his glory. Rest in peace. You were a great man, a brilliant artist, and a loving father. I still can’t believe what’s happened.”

Authorities Confirm Details Of The Crash

ABC7 reported that authorities confirmed that all six people on board the aircraft were killed. The victims included the pilot, the co-pilot, and four passengers.

Among those lost was Jimenez’s photographer, Weisman Mora, who had shared a final video from inside the plane as it taxied toward takeoff. Mora was later confirmed to be among the victims.

The aircraft had been traveling toward Medellín, near the town of Marinilla, where Jimenez was set to perform later that evening. The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. local time.
