The Royal Family will likely be hoping that Meghan Markle continues to venture out in the “lifestyle sphere”, according to one royal expert. The 44-year-old has experienced a strained relationship with the royals for some time, with the decision to step away from royal life alongside Prince Harry taking place in 2020.

Meghan is gearing up for the end of a very busy year in her professional life. The royal saw the launch of her lifestyle brand “As Ever” at the start of 2025, with two series of her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan”, released in March and August.

Speaking on behalf of AceOdds, former royal butler Grant Harrold said: “Meghan has placed herself firmly in the foodie and lifestyle place and I think she’ll be looking to build and grow in this area in 2026…

“…I don’t think we’ll see Meghan launch a fashion or beauty range. While we know they’re areas she’s passionate about, I think she knows it’s vital to build a solid brand before diversifying.

“While I think we’ll see new products in her current ranges, I think she will stick to the same areas.

“I think the Royal Family hope she continues her work in the lifestyle sphere. It’s what she’s passionate about and she’s made a real mark. Plus, it can’t really do much harm – and especially nothing like Harry did with his memoir.”

Speaking about something that Meghan could release in 2026, he added that she could release her own recipe book or a book in accordance to “With Love, Meghan”.

Meghan currently resides in the US with Harry and their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

The prediction about a book comes almost three years after of Harry’s memoir, Spare, in early 2023.
