On July 22, the world lost a rock legend. Ozzy Osbourne, the voice that defined generations through Black Sabbath, was laid to rest in a private ceremony at his 250-acre estate in Buckinghamshire — a place he once called his sanctuary.
Fresh aerial images from TMZ reveal a tranquil burial site by a shimmering lake, hidden among rolling green fields. It’s a resting place that feels worlds away from the chaos of the stage, yet perfectly in tune with the man behind the music.
The public farewell began a day earlier in Birmingham, where thousands of fans gathered along the streets to say goodbye. The funeral procession paused at Black Sabbath Bridge, where Sharon Osbourne and the couple’s children Aimée, Kelly, and Jack joined mourners in laying flowers at a makeshift memorial.
The next day’s intimate funeral — attended by just 110 close friends and family — was a gathering of rock royalty, with appearances by Robert Trujillo, Corey Taylor, Rob Zombie, Zakk Wylde, and Marilyn Manson.
His death certificate listed a heart attack as the cause of death, also noting his struggles with Parkinson’s disease and coronary artery disease.
In his memoir I Am Ozzy, he wrote of wanting to rest in the ground beneath a tree, not in ashes. Today, that wish is reality. By the lake, under the English sky, Ozzy Osbourne has found his eternal stage — silent, serene, and unforgettable.
