THE horrifying aftermath of Mackenzie Shirilla’s high-speed crash has been laid bare in a series of chilling crime scene photos, showing the vehicle completely crushed.
The images show the devastating wreckage left behind after the Ohio teen killed her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, 20, and friend, Davion Flanagan, 19.

The graphic evidence, obtained by The U.S. Sun from Cuyahoga County, was shown to jurors during Shirilla’s trial after she pleaded not guilty to murder.
Her case has continued to attract attention after the success of the Netflix documentary, The Crash, in which she broke her silence and maintained her innocence.
The crime photos reveal the sheer force of the 100mph impact and the chaotic scene first responders encountered after she drove her 2018 Toyota Camry into a brick building.
Inside the wreckage, the steering wheel can be seen twisted out of shape, while the entertainment system is smashed to pieces and the airbags are burst open.
Blood is also visible smeared across the rear seats, while much of the interior appears crushed and mangled by the force of the crash.
Exterior photographs also show the devastating damage to the vehicle, with the passenger-side doors torn away, wheel covers missing, and the roof badly damaged.
Mackenzie crashed her Toyota Camry into the headquarters of PLIDCO, a commercial brick building located at the intersection of Progress Drive and Alameda Drive in Strongsville, Ohio.
Investigators said the car crossed a grassy area, struck a business sign, and then slammed into the corner of the building at roughly 98-100mph.
In the early hours of July 31, 2022, Shirilla, who was just 17 at the time, got behind the wheel with her boyfriend and friend.
Surveillance footage showed she appeared to be driving normally until she turned a corner and slammed her foot on the gas.
Dominic and Davion died on impact, while Shirilla was saved after being found unconscious and trapped in the wreckage.
Public records and trial testimony indicate that the impact shoved her body under the front center console of the car.
The crash was so severe that first responders initially believed no one could have survived it.
According to trial evidence, Dominic was in the front passenger seat and Davion was sitting in the rear of the vehicle. Both suffered fatal injuries.

Bodycam footage later released showed officers describing the wreckage as the worst crash they had ever seen, with one officer remarking that the car had effectively “split in two.”
Shirilla spent months recovering and the victim’s families initially thought it was an accident, until the devastating truth was finally exposed and she was later arrested.
A heartbreaking video of the 17-year-old speeding along the road was shown during the trial.
Judge Margaret Russo said after viewing it, “She morphs from a responsible driver to literal hell on wheels as she makes her way down the street.
“She had a mission and she executed it with precision.”
The judge added, “Her actions were controlled, methodical, deliberate, intentional, and purposeful.
“This was not reckless driving. This was murder.”
Text messages revealed by police also showed her toxic relationship with Dominic, her boyfriend of four years, whose family claims had tried more than once to break up with her.
She reportedly threatened to harm him during arguments.
Shirilla was eventually sentenced on August 21, 2023, to 15 years to life in prison after a bench trial.
She was found guilty of two counts of murder, four counts of felonious assault, and two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.
Shirilla, now 21, has appealed her conviction multiple times since being sentenced, but each challenge has been rejected by the courts.
Her most recent appeal attempt in April 2026 was also denied, meaning her convictions for the murders remain in place.
