Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been issued a major warning ahead of their visit to Australia. The couple, who made the announcement earlier this month, are set to visit Down Under in the middle of April.
Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, will be carrying out “a number of private, business, and philanthropic engagements” in Australia, with details of the trip showing one of Meghan’s main engagements. The mother-of-two will be hosting a wellness retreat at a beachside hotel in Sydney between April 17 and 19.
Speaking to New Magazine, PR expert and talent manager Dermot McNamara said that the visit is a “last chance” for the couple to decide what they really want.
He said: “It’s a last chance for them to establish where they fit and where they want to go. Harry, in particular, probably feels he should get back out there and they know Australia is a place that loves them dearly, especially when compared to the UK.
“So it’s a trip that has a lot of possibilities but also a lot of risk. It’s a way to send the message we are here and we are active”.
He added: “It offers a middle ground for them to present themselves as Harry and Meghan, as royals, and as international celebrities, without it being too much in everyone’s faces.”
Meghan will also be taking part in an in-conversation event and a gala dinner with the Her Best Life podcast during their time in Sydney.

While his wife prepares for her retreat, Harry is scheduled to take part in the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit, which will focus on mental health in the workplace.
Writing in a statement ahead of Harry’s appearance, the Chief Executive Officer of InterEdge Summit Carrie Leeson said: “We’re honoured to welcome Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, to the InterEdge Summit, joining an exceptional line-up of leaders whose collective expertise reflects both the scale of the challenge and the urgency for action.
“This Summit is about moving beyond awareness and driving the meaningful change Australian workplaces desperately need.”
