🔥 BREAKING: Minutes-Long Attack Allegedly Led to Ja’Derrius Minnieweather’s De-ath — Police Documents Now Point to Sh0cking New Details and a Possible Teen Girl Connection

The disappearance of 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather in Baton Rouge has developed into a deeply disturbing criminal case, according to details contained in arrest documents and statements from investigators.

Ja’Derrius was last seen on June 5 after riding his bicycle to meet a 16-year-old female friend he had known for some time. According to police records, the girl was reportedly out getting food with 51-year-old Maurice Parms when Ja’Derrius arrived at the location and waited nearby.

Investigators allege that a confrontation took place shortly afterward between Ja’Derrius and Maurice Parms. According to witness statements cited in the arrest warrant, a tall male was seen repeatedly assaulting a smaller individual for several minutes. Witnesses also reported hearing a softer voice pleading for the attack to stop and asking to be left alone.

Police say that after the alleged assault, they discovered large suspected bloodstains in the area, which were later confirmed through testing to contain blood evidence.

Surveillance footage referenced in the warrant allegedly shows Maurice Parms riding a child’s bicycle and later discarding items including a mask, gloves, and a T-shirt. Investigators further allege that he returned to the area at a later time to retrieve those items.

Detectives also state that Parms was observed cleaning parts of his truck with a rag, and forensic examination reportedly found blood inside multiple areas of the vehicle, including locations he was allegedly seen wiping down.

Based on the evidence outlined in the warrant, investigators believe that Ja’Derrius was fatally assaulted, that his body was concealed, and that efforts were made to dispose of evidence. Authorities also suggest that the body may have been transported to another location using a vehicle, though the teenager’s remains have not yet been recovered.

Maurice Parms was initially arrested on June 10 after investigators uncovered messages between him and the 16-year-old girl connected to the case. According to arrest documents, the communications allegedly began in September 2025 using a messaging application.

In the messages referenced by police, Parms allegedly expressed romantic intentions toward the teenager, referring to her as “bae” and stating that he loved her. He also allegedly mentioned anticipation about others discovering their relationship.

Investigators further note that Parms made references involving his own child within the context of those communications, which are now part of the broader case file being reviewed.

Following the investigation, Maurice Parms has been charged with first-degree murder. Authorities have not yet recovered Ja’Derrius Minnieweather’s body.

Police continue to stress that the charges are based on allegations and evidence gathered during the investigation. Parms is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

As the case moves forward, Ja’Derrius’ family and the Baton Rouge community remain in mourning, holding onto hope for closure while waiting for answers about what ultimately happened to the missing teenager.
