Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has revealed her picks for who should step up to replace departing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on the BBC show.

It was confirmed earlier this year that Tess, 56, and Claudia, 53, will be saying their goodbyes to the dancing competition when the current series wraps up.

The judges and cast gave a touching tribute to the presenting duo last week, who have been working together since 2014.

Wild speculation has begun over who might fill the boots of the pair, who boast two decades of partnership, with Claudia having started on spin-off It Takes Two before taking over from legendary Strictly host Bruce Forsyth.

Big names like Bradley Walsh, Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond, and Zoe Ball have all been floated as potential successors, but Shirley, 65, has thrown a fresh suggestion into the mix.
