Beach Hor-ror: Boy, 14, Swept Into Open Sea as Family of Four Is Caught in Ter-rifying Emergency
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has gone missing in the water off the coast of a popular Welsh beach, as a major rescue operation has been launched.
The emergency services including the RNLI, HM Coastguard and police have been searching off the coast of Marloes Sands in Pembrokeshire for nearly 24 hours.

It follows reports that a family of four got into difficulties at around 3pm on Sunday, according to eyewitnesses.
Two members of the group were able to get themselves to safety but the teenager is still missing, as rescue teams continue their search efforts along the coast.
Locals in the nearby village of Dale reported hearing search helicopters circling overhead for hours throughout Sunday evening.
One resident confirmed aircraft had been searching for up to four hours, according to WalesOnline.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said at around 3.30pm on Sunday, it received a report of three people in difficulty in the water and requiring assistance at Marloes, Pembrokeshire.
The spokesperson said: “Two of the three people self-rescued and one person remains unaccounted for.”
The coastguard said they are coordinating a maritime search as a part of a multi-agency response to the incident.
Dyfed-Powys Police asked the public to avoid Marloes Sands due to an ongoing incident just before 6pm on Sunday.
The initial search was suspended at around 3am on Monday morning before resuming at first light today.
Broad Haven, Dale and St Davids Coastguard teams, supported by Angle and Littlehaven RNLI lifeboats and the Area 13 drone team, are involved in the search.
