The former Duchess of York is reportedly set to return to Britain after fleeing abroad amid the fallout over her friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Sarah Ferguson’s return to Britain after fleeing scrutiny over her friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has been “perfectly timed”, according to a royal expert. The former Duchess of York is reportedly set to travel back to the UK after months overseas following the fallout over her and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ties to the convicted paedophile.
Sarah is renting a six-bedroom gated property in the Home Counties, according to The Sun. Her expected return comes just days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came back to Britain with their children to begin a new life after six years in the US. Royal commentator Helena Chard suggested the news had been tactically released to fly under the radar amid the media circus surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s return.

She told GB News: “She’s forever the chameleon and always bounces back … It is, in a way, perfect timing because the storm has been taken with Harry and Meghan and their moving.”
Ms Chard even suggested Sarah could settle close to the duke and duchess’s new family home in the Cotswolds, which is partially based, like the Home Counties, in southern England.
Sarah, who lost her title in October alongside Andrew after revelations over their links to Epstein, previously lived with her ex-husband at Royal Lodge in Windsor, before they were both forced to vacate the property.
She is believed to have spent her time out of the public eye at a Swiss Alpine chalet in Verbier, and her belongings were collected from Andrew’s home in Sandringham this week, according to reports.
The 66-year-old has faced calls to speak to US authorities about Epstein after last year’s release of millions of documents associated with him shed new light on their relationship.
The paedophile has been the downfall of Andrew, who was stripped of his titles by the King because of “serious lapses of judgement” and was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February.
