Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice remain committed to supporting their father, Prince Andrew, despite ongoing difficulties, according to reports.
Relations between the Duke of York and his daughters have grown increasingly tense in recent weeks following the Epstein scandal fallout, with both Eugenie and Beatrice maintaining a notably quiet public presence. However, Eugenie, said to be “mortified” by her father’s links to the convicted sex offender, was spotted on Monday attending an upmarket contemporary art fair in Doha, Qatar.
Body language analysis suggested that the 35 year old appeared “rather vulnerable and resigned” beneath her cheerful exterior whilst accompanying German influencer friend Caroline Daur.
Yet sources close to the family indicate that neither princess plans to “turn their back” on the 65 year old Duke. An associate of the sisters revealed: “The sisters are not abandoning their father. They aren’t turning their backs on him. But everything is obviously very strained and hard.”
Both Eugenie and Beatrice chose to celebrate Christmas amongst other Royal Family members, despite earlier speculation about potential overseas holidays with their husbands.
Subsequently, additional Epstein documents have emerged, featuring photographs showing Andrew on the floor in what appears to be a kneeling position over a woman.
One email suggested that Epstein funded the former duchess’ flights to the US for a lunch at his Palm Beach property, with her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, who were only 20 and 19 at the time.
In other messages, she referred to him as a ‘brother’ she wished she had and humorously proposed, “just marry me.”

Robert Jobson, an author and ex-royal correspondent, expressed disbelief: “They must be overwhelmed and aghast by this. What was she thinking? Taking her daughters – the late Queen’s granddaughters – to meet this vile convicted criminal? It really beggars belief.”
However, according to HELLO!, Eugenie and Beatrice are not ready to abandon their father, who recently vacated his grand 30-room residence, Royal Lodge.
The scandal-ridden former prince has been temporarily relocated to Wood Farm Cottage, Prince Philip’s retirement home, while renovations on his new property – an outbuilding on the Sandringham Estate – are underway.
Meanwhile, Prince William faced questions about the Epstein scandal during a football game with young female players on the second day of his visit to Saudi Arabia.
The Prince of Wales is currently on a diplomatically sensitive trip to the country and was attending a girls’ football training session when a journalist called out to him.
The reporter asked: “Sir, to what extent do you think the royal family has done enough around the Andrew and Epstein scandal?” William did not reply, and it was unclear whether he heard the question, which was shouted from afar.
