I’m A Celebrity fans are keen for one 2025 campmate to return to screens in a solo spin-off show

Fans of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! are still lamenting the early departure of one beloved campmate who didn’t make it to the 2025 final.

ITV audiences were treated to a final glimpse of this year’s celebrity participants during the eagerly awaited I’m A Celebrity: Coming Out reunion special, which broadcast on Saturday (December 13).

The episode featured fan-favourite Ruby Wax finally enjoying her much-discussed date with Kiosk Kev, whom she’d playfully pined for throughout her time in the jungle.

Settling down for a beverage with him, the comedian confessed to Kev: “Kev, you know that I’ve had feelings for you, ever since I saw the back of your neck throb in the ‘cockie car’. I went off you a little bit when you threw the cockroaches and ants on me.”, reports the Daily Star.

Ruby added: “But I decided to forgive you. I’m so nervous! I just want to know a few things about you. Do you water ski? Have you ever been to Siberia?”

“And do you have STD? OK, I’ll take that as a no. I’m so nervous. Kev, can I touch you? [They then held hands].”

Ruby then mouthed ‘I love you’ to Kev, who responded with a wink. However, she had to deliver some disappointing news.

The 72-year-old revealed that her husband of more than three decades, Ed Bye, is still her soulmate. “This may break your heart; I will not dump Ed. But I love you,” she told Kev.

As the amusing sequence played out, viewers were quick to express that they’d been ‘robbed’ of genuine entertainment when Ruby became the fifth celebrity to exit the jungle.

One fan took to social media, previously known as Twitter, to express their disappointment: “Ruby should have been in the final we were robbed! #imaceleb.”

Another viewer suggested a new venture for Ruby: “I need Ruby to have her own TV show over here or something because she’s such a queen and I actually love her.”

A third fan praised the presenter’s early exit as a loss, writing: “I’m A Celebrity Coming Out really highlighting how ridiculous Ruby Wax going out so early was. #ImACeleb.”

While a fourth lamented: “‘Have you ever been to Siberia and have you ever had an std” nah I miss Ruby Wax on my screen what an icon #imaceleb #imacelebrity.
