SHE NEVER CAME HOME..!- A body believed to be missing mother Sandra Popovic has been found in the Blue Mountains after she disappeared following a meeting with her estranged son, who has since been charged with m-u:rder
A body, believed to be of missing woman Sandra Popovic, has been found in bushland by police after a search in Sydney’s west.
Police launched an investigation on 9 June after concerns were raised for the 58-year-old after she failed to return home.
Family said they had last heard from Ms Popovic about 4.50pm on 8 June, when she said she was going to meet a relative in Winston Hills.

The next morning, about 9.30am, Ms Popovic’s car was found on Dodson St in Winston Hills, prompting police to launch a search and establish Strike Force Dizek.
Her son, Ante Popovic was arrested at Tomerong on the NSW South Coast on 11 June.
The 34-year-old has been charged with her murder and remains before the court.
About 2.30pm on 21 June officers found a body in bushland near Mt Banks Rd, Mt Banks, in the Blue Mountains National Park.
The body is yet to be formally identified; however, is believed to be that of the missing woman.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
