A Wave of Outrage Over a Cash-Hungry Social Media Page

The international online community was recently left reeling when an Instagram account under the handle @theofficialseang suddenly surfaced. The owner of this account is none other than Sean Guthright (20), who was just convicted by a Florida court of first-degree murder in the brutal assassination of rapper Julio Foolio.

What makes it truly shocking is that right after receiving a life sentence with no chance of return, this personal page—run by Sean’s sister and girlfriend—immediately posted a GoFundMe fundraiser targeting $100,000. The purpose of this money is to hire a lawyer for one final gamble: a post-conviction appeal to overturn the sentence.

Blatant Audacity in the Name of Religion and “Out-of-Touch” Pleas

To tug at the public’s heartstrings, Sean’s family has repeatedly posted Bible verses, specifically Romans 8:28, in an attempt to spin a cold-blooded murderer into a “poor kid who simply lost his way.”

On the profile, the perpetrator’s family wrote: “Sean is only 20 years old and is currently facing the fight of his life after being convicted, a verdict that has completely changed the course of his future because of the decisions he made. For the longest time, Sean has always been a loving and loyal son, brother, and friend.”

Sean even sent a voice recording out from his prison cell to reassure his “fans”: “They got me in confinement, it’s just a protocol thing after Friday. But I should be out of here soon and, you know, reaching back out to everybody through my management team. I really appreciate the donations, God has the last word.”

The Chilling Truth from an Overwhelming Mountain of Evidence

Despite his family and a segment of blind netizens trying to whitewash the crime as “youthful recklessness,” investigators have exposed a completely opposite reality. Sean Guthright was neither forced by anyone nor did he accidentally slip up. The 20-year-old killer acted like a cold-blooded hunter.

Phone data proves that Sean hunted for information, scrolling through Airbnb and Instagram to desperately pinpoint Julio Foolio’s location. He was the one who packed a car with guns and frantically texted girls to track down the victim’s whereabouts at all costs.

Even more horrifying, forensic records confirm that during the hail of bullets fired at Julio Foolio on the night of his 26th birthday, two rounds from Sean’s AR rifle struck the victim. One of them pierced his heart and pretty much exploded inside the ill-fated rapper’s chest, taking his life on the spot. After committing the crime, Sean calmly drove to his grandmother’s house to switch cars in an effort to erase his tracks.

Public Backlash: “A Murderer Does Not Deserve Redemption”

The family’s campaign to raise $100,000 is currently failing miserably, having scraped together a measly $400. The vast majority of the public has expressed utter disgust at the delusion of the inmate’s family.

One comment that garnered thousands of likes on Instagram read: “Whoever donates to this GoFundMe needs to trade spots with him. It’s completely disgusting to use God’s name to panhandle for a convicted first-degree murderer.”

Many argue that even if the victim, Julio Foolio, did not have a saintly past or was heavily entangled in underworld feuds, the law is still the law. Sean’s actions of hunting, stalking, and opening fire at will constitute a savage act of murder, and he must pay the price with the rest of his life behind the cold walls of a prison cell.
