The series has received mixed reviews from critics. Variety hailed the thriller as an “engaging series about revenge, secrets and the magic of electric chemistry,” noting that while some twists are obvious, the show “thrives because the audience never quite knows what to expect.”

However, not all reviews were positive. The Telegraph gave the “lifeless erotic thriller” just one star, commenting on the “cringeworthy dialogue.”
Meanwhile, The Irish Times said viewers expecting a “conventionally well-put-together mystery” will be underwhelmed, but those hoping for a “hysterically soapy thrill ride” won’t be disappointed.
