Nicola Walker stars as Alice in Alice and Steve
Mark your calendars because all episodes of the Hulu Original series will be available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US on 8 June.
You know you’re in safe hands when Nicola Walker is on the screen. The acclaimed actress has proved she can do both hard-hitting drama and sharp comedy, thanks to her roles in Unforgotten, Last Tango in Halifax and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
And if the show’s cast isn’t enough to tempt viewers, perhaps the creative team will. The show comes from the award-winning production company behind Baby Reindeer, Clerkenwell Films, while writer Sophie Goodhart has credits on Rivals and Sex Education.
The series has already been met with praise from audiences, with the first two episodes receiving a standing ovation at its premiere at CANNESERIES 2026 in France over the weekend.

Alice tries everything she can to end their relationship but unfortunately for her, Steve’s more than ready for the attack.

Jemaine Clement and Yali Topol Margalith as Steve and Izzy
The synopsis continues: “What begins as a perfect friendship devolves into an all-out feud.”
“A hilarious, messy, and complicated exploration of friendship, family, and love, Alice and Steve is an anti-romantic comedy that asks the question, how far would you go for love – or revenge? Will Alice forgive Steve? Will Steve and Izzy make a relationship work? Amongst all the questions hanging in the balance, one thing is certain; their lives will never be the same again.”
