Love Island Shocker: Angelista Breaks Down in Tears and Threatens to Quit After Simba’s Devastating Casa Amor Betrayal

LOVE Island is set for a shock as Angelista threatens to quit the show after breaking down in tears.

The 24-year-old arrived at the start of this year’s series of the ITV2 dating show and had been coupled up with Simba Kudyiwa.

Tonight’s episode shows the aftermath of Casa Amor, with Simba coupling up with new bombshell Mara Pirez.

A short preview clip shows Angelista saying: “Guys, guys, I think my journey here is over.”

It then cuts to her crying while sat outside the villa as some of the other girls gather around to offer comfort.

Sobbing, Angelista says: “It’s done”, while rubbing her eyes and looking upwards.

Elsewhere in the episode, host Maya Jama asks Simba how he feels to see Angelista standing alone after the recoupling.

To which he replies: “Obviously it’s not nice to see.”

Explaining how he approached Casa Amor, Simba continues: “I would be doing myself a disservice if I wasn’t true to myself and open myself up to potential connections.”

Angelista responds to this: “I’m speechless to be honest… I’m livid, I’m trying to hold it together.”

Amid the fallout, Simba tells the other Islanders that this isn’t the end of the road for him and Angelista, saying: “Me and Angie aren’t done by any means and I want her to know that.”

Maya asks Mara, who is standing next to Simba, how she feels as the most recent newcomer.

Defending her new villa partner, the 25-year-old bombshell says: “He didn’t want to hurt anyone… I’m going to give him grace and understanding.”

As Angelista sits down, she begins to get emotional. Maya whispers to her, “are you okay?”

Simba later attempts to repair his connection with Angelista by the Firepit.

He explains to her: “Casa off the bat was a lads holiday… That was the vibe we came with.”

He adds: “There’s nothing I can say right now that can make it easier or better.”

Simba goes on to say that choosing to return Mara does not reflect a desire to stop building a relationship with Angelista.

He says: “This is not an exchange… I want to become the best version of Simba for you.”

Struggling to understand his perspective, Angelista replies: “That doesn’t make any sense… Do you actually hear yourself?”

As Simba contemplates, Angelista instructs him: “Don’t start all the dramatics and the sniffling.”

Simba again tries to reassure Angelista, saying: “I know where my heart is, and it’s with you.”

But will Angelista believe this explanation, or will the recoupling be her final straw?

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
