Love Island Fans Stunned As Scott Van der Sluis Shares New Update On Explosive Whitney Fallout
LOVE Island star Scott Van der Sluis has shared an update on his feud with Whitney Adebayo.
The pair first became friends back in 2023 when they took part in the tenth series of the ITV2 dating show.

And then they reunited on our screens earlier this year to take part in the second series of the spin-off Love Island All Stars.
Back in March this year it was revealed that the two were in a unexpected feud after their All Stars co-star Carrington said on a stream that they need to “kiss and make up”.
The following month their bitter feud exploded as Scott branded Whitney a “liar” after Belle and Whitney claimed that he had accessed a phone while at a dentist appointment in South Africa.
Now in an appearance on pal Tyrique Hyde’s Kick stream, Scott has revealed where things stand with his former pal.

Ty asked him: “Have you and Whitney hugged and made up yet?”
Scott replied: “Um… she’s apologised.”
He continued: “A lot happened. A lot happened.”
“That makes me so happy,” Tyrique said with a smile on his face.
Scott told him: “Yeah, a lot happened. But we’ll leave it there for now, we’ll leave it there.”

During their stint in the All Stars villa, Scott, who placed third on All Stars with Leanne Amaning, was involved in a lot of drama with Belle Hassan.
After leaving the villa Whitney and Belle went on to accuse Scott of sticking with Leanne to gain popularity.
Belle claimed on the Great Company podcast: “He went to the dentist and he started Googling – I said I was going to come on the podcast and expose the truth, so here I am.
“He did say that, he went to the dentist and got hold of a phone or was asking the dentist to Google things.
“He told me this, he told Ciaran and Helena.
“He was Googling football scores, he was Googling the press – so he’s come in with all this information.
“He basically had looked up who was the favourite at the time, at the time he said I was the favourite girl.”
Whitney then said on The Wummi Bello Show podcast: “Scott had a root canal and he had to go to the dentist.
“Scott ended up getting access to a phone and then he found up the public wanted him with Leanne.
“And then he obviously came back and did a 180 on Belle, that’s why Belle went crazy, not because of the 180, but more so ‘you’ve switched up on me’
“That’s why Belle was like ‘you’re making a logical decision and not going with the emotion’ and that ‘I know the truth’.
“Yeah because things happened behind-the-scenes.”
Scott then took to X to have his say, saying: “Three weeks to cook up a story to clear their name and this is the best they could do, the problem with agreeing to lie is your always going to slip up.
“Should have just got their TikTtok friends to say it and take the heat.”
But Whitney responded to Scott on her X page by sharing a screengrab of a conversation with him.
She captioned it: “As your founder, don’t try me because I will not conform to your lies. All this for clout? So sorry for you.”
One of the texts was Whitney trying to explain that she backed Scott with every girl he wanted to get to know.
Another text Whitney sent read: “Even the dentist talk, I backed you and didn’t give it beans.”
Scott responded: “That’s not the problem Whit, I literally just said that on stream.”
Not only that, Whitney tried to FaceTime Scott, who was with Leanne, while she was with Scott’s ex Catherine Agbaje shortly after they left the villa.
Whitney shot to fame on Love Island in 2023.
The star placed second alongside her ex Lochan Nowaki – who she split from in April last year.
Meanwhile Scott has appeared on series 10 of Love Island, series 5 of Love Island US, the first season of Love Island Games and Love Island All Stars.
Scott is still going strong with Leanne, who regularly share loved-up snaps on Intagram.
