Given the undeniable collaborative history between 50 Cent and Eminem, it appears the upcoming Street Fighter movie is set to be musically “powered up” with nothing short of anthems, particularly during the scenes featuring the character Balrog.
Although 50 Cent’s (Curtis Jackson) Balrog look in the upcoming Street Fighter movie recently sparked some mockery from the online community, the rapper and actor remains incredibly confident, ready to silence all skepticism. He even sent shockwaves through the Hip-Hop fanbase by teasing the potential of brand new music from Eminem featuring on the official soundtrack album.
While this is not yet a confirmed announcement, the duo’s long collaborative history makes the anticipation sky-high. The former G-Unit mogul used his personal Instagram page on Saturday, December 13, to reveal the news, simultaneously putting a degree of public pressure on Slim Shady to follow through with the project.
“I’m gonna get @eminem on deck to make some music for this movie Street Fighter. New Music on the way!” Fif declared on Instagram. The community is eagerly hoping this invitation will translate into legitimate banger tracks for the cinematic release.
While 50 Cent has been less active with new solo material for some time, Eminem remains an unrelenting creative machine. Whether it’s the The Death Of Slim Shady project or tracks for the STANS soundtrack, he clearly maintains his studio intensity. Therefore, perhaps this latest screen adaptation of the iconic video game will be the perfect catalyst to unleash that creative spark and produce some musical magic.
When Is Street Fighter Coming Out?

Street Fighter is currently scheduled for release on October 16, 2026. This means these two artists from the Dr. Dre “family tree” have ample time to craft potential new tracks. Of course, collaboration isn’t always simple, but an alternative possibility is licensing previously released material for inclusion in the soundtrack.
Separately, this month has also been a major media period for 50 Cent. His executive-produced Netflix documentary series on Diddy, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, has sparked significant controversy and divided opinions. Amidst all the success, acclaim, legal threats, resurfaced allegations, and more, 50 Cent is simply pleased that audiences are tuning in.
As for Eminem, this would mark his latest collaboration with the video game world in some form. The new Hitman game recently featured a special mission themed around Slim Shady, which was quite unique. However, for the general audience, the prospect of new music from the Detroit legend is far more captivating news.
