💥 Tesla Crashes Into Westfield Knox Diners: 27-Year-Old Woman De-a-d As Ter-rifying Details Emerge
A woman has died after a car slammed into the dining area of a shopping centre.
The woman was on a pedestrian crossing outside Westfield Knox at Wantirna South, in Melbourne‘s east, when a grey Tesla crashed into a restaurant outside the main centre about 12.45pm on Monday.
She died at the scene and has not been formally identified, but is understood to be 27 years old.
The driver, a 55-year-old woman, and a passenger were taken to Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another two customers were also treated at the scene by paramedics.
Inspector Ben Gordon told reporters early investigations indicated the driver hadn’t given way to pedestrians at the crossing and swerved into a restaurant, Martini and Co.
‘Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will attend to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash,’ Victoria Police said in a statement.
‘Police do not believe the incident was an intentional act.’

Martini and Co confirmed it would be closed until further notice
A crime scene was established and the investigation is ongoing.
Martini and Co shared a post on social media confirming it would be closed until further notice due to an ‘accident’.
‘We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,’ it said.
‘Please stay safe and we’ll keep you updated when we can reopen.’
Melbourne St was closed in both directions.
Victoria Police is also investigating another separate crash outside the shopping centre, on Burwood Highway.
A bus struck an 84-year-old pedestrian about 11.50am.
She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The bus driver was uninjured and there were no passengers onboard at the time.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact Crime Stoppers.
