Love Island Winners Lorenzo and Julia Finally Break Their Silence After Historic £50K Victory – And Reveal What Happened Off Camera
LOVE Island winners Lorenzo and Julia have broken their silence on their incredible show win.
The couple were named the winners by Maya Jama last night – scooping the £50,000 prize.

Now, speaking for the first time since their exit, they have opened up on their future together and what is next for them
Lorenzo said: “It’s very surreal, I did not think this would happen eight weeks ago walking in there. What an honour; very privileged, very humbled.”
Whilst Julia added: “We feel very grateful and it’s crazy, coming from Casa I had no idea I would make it through Casa and then win. What has happened?!
“We loved it and enjoyed every second, and always lived in the moment.”

Speaking about the moment, he realised he had feelings for Julia, the hunky star added: “I felt like it was after coming back from Casa when there was lots of heat on Julia.
“I actually really cared for her and that’s never happened before.
“I’ve never had to deal with situations like that, and if I didn’t have feelings I wouldn’t have been so caring or given as much time to the situation. I’ve always said I need big, dramatic moments to know how I feel.”
Julia also addressed comments which suggested the pair wouldn’t last.
Hitting back, she said: “That’s natural, people will have doubts. We know what we have got and we believe in ourselves and being there for each other.
“Watch this space!”
Their victory – in what many have dubbed the best series in YEARS – came amid a backlash from fans who suggested ITV2 bosses had “given away” the identity of the triumphant pair minutes before the official result.
Last night’s instalment of the ITV2 dating show, hosted by Maya Jama, 31, saw the pair, alongside Simba and Angelista, and Kav and Jasmine, battle it out for the top spot and a £50k prize.
After finding out the news, Lorenzo shouted: “What the hell?!”
Julia added: “I would just love to say thank you to everyone!”
And in the background Lorenzo was giggling to himself saying: “What the hell is going on?!”
