Prince Harry might seek King Charles’ help for his and Meghan Markle’s financial trouble. According to Closer, the Sussexes have been in turmoil after shocking setbacks ahead of the Invictus Games. The Australian government has reportedly pulled funding for the event, and the Invictus Games vice chairman has stepped down from her role.
A source told the outlet that Harry has, therefore, reached out to his “last resort.” “Harry really needs to find a big chunk of money to bail out Invictus right now; he needs his father’s help,” they claimed. Aside from the event, the duke has reportedly been struggling to keep his family’s Montecito lifestyle afloat.
“In Harry’s view, it would take very little on his father’s end to help him out. All he would need to do is make a small public gesture to indicate that he and Meghan have his blessing, and life for them could get a whole lot easier,” the insider said.
Furthermore, they added that Harry allegedly didn’t want to ask his father for help with his financial matters. However, he is said to be the “Spare” author’s “last resort.” “He refuses to believe his dad would be that cold,” the source mentioned, referring to Harry reportedly expecting a green light from King Charles.
Earlier, a report mentioned a PR expert who claimed that the Sussex couple didn’t need any big deals. They could allegedly benefit from the public’s “visceral fascination.” “That level of global recognition is a permanent, self-monetizing asset,” PR director Olivia Bennett told The Mirror.
