Viewers Slam Love Island for Allegedly Taking Social Media Post Out of Context During Explosive Challenge
LOVE Island fans have slammed the show for using an out of context tweet to rock one relationship.
The islanders took part in a Tea, Receipts and Truths challenge during Thursday’s episode as Jasmine and Lorenzo were called out for their dynamic.

The pair were coupled up with one another at the start of the series, but are now with Kavan and Yasmin respectively.
Finley read out one tweet that read: “They’re having an affair in plain sight,” before it was revealed to be about Jasmine and Lorenzo.
The pair were confronted by their partners, who were left unhappy about the comment.
Jasmine made it clear that if Kavan wasn’t in the picture, she would be getting to know Lorenzo, but she’s happy in her couple.

Yasmin also pointed out that if the pair were in fact having flirty conversations, she wouldn’t be happy about it.
Now ITV2 viewers have taken to Reddit to share their frustrations about the tweet, claiming it was used to try and rock Jasmine and Kavan.
One person claimed that the tweet in question was in reference to the Heart Rate Challenge when Jasmine waved to Lorenzo.
They penned: “It was about the Heart Rate Challenge wave.
“I’m not saying this is good or bad on the producers, I just wanted to provide context as it may seem a little out of left field for anyone who doesn’t know what the actual tweet was about.”
Somebody commented: “They should show the whole tweet but I get their intention is to cause as much drama as possible.”
Another person said: “Literally an exaggeration and they’re probably going to think the worst when it was nothing like that.”
Someone else wrote: “The way this tweet had no hashtag and it was a joke about the little wave omg.”

While a fifth added: “Agreed, it didn’t help and neither did the other receipts and tweets because it hurts to see how everyone was hurting from this when it’s clear that these two are nothing but platonic good friends in my opinion.”
Jasmine and Lorenzo became a pair during the first recoupling, that took place during the launch episode.
However, the two later parted ways when a love triangle emerged between the two and new bombshell Priya.
But Lorenzo’s head was turned again by Yasmin, who he is now coupled up with, while Jasmine is with younger hunk Kavan.
Yet despite being in their new couples, the chemistry between Jasmine and Lorenzo still seems there.
During this week’s heart rate challenge, it was Lorenzo who raised Jasmine’s pulse the most – and vice versa.
