LOVE Island star Helena Ford has revealed the small sum islanders get paid – and how she was picked for All Stars just DAYS after her villa dumping.
The 30-year-old shot to fame on the twelfth series of the ITV2 dating show, hosted by Maya Jama, in the summer of 2025.

Helena then joined the likes of Millie Court, Jess Harding, Samie Elishi and Lucinda Strafford for the third series of the popular spin-off in January this year.
During a recent appearance on the Private Parts podcast, the former air hostess opened up about how much money she was given to appear on the programme.
Podcast host Liv Bentley asked: “For All Stars, do you get paid money to come back again?”
Helena replied: “Yeah.”

An intrigued Liv continued: “What are you first paid when you go in as a civilian?”
Helena confessed: “So I think it’s something ridiculous like £300 a week.”
Which then led Liv on to ask: “So the second time around, I don’t know why I am asking so much about themoney, but I’m assuming you get paid a figure to come back again?”
Helena confirmed: “You get paid per day as well. Whereas weekly last time. Not that really makes a difference.
“But you got paid a lot more money to go on All Stars than to do the normal one.”
Liv asked: “What made you go back on All Stars after having such backlash?”
Helena explained: “I came out from the summer series and I actually got asked to go on All Stars, I think the day after I got dumped from the summer series.
“They asked me again and I was like ‘No I was like literally I need to go home and recoup and pick myself up again.’
“Then they were getting in touch with my management, constantly asking me to do it, then it got to November and I was like you know what, it’s never going to be worse than what it is now.
“I was like, it can’t get any worse. If I just throw myself back into the situation, at least I will know I have tried.”
Helena’s time on Love Island saw her couple up with a number of the boys in the villa.
But during the series, her love triangle with Harry Cooksley and Shakira Khan was most memorable – and it got a lot of viewers talking and sharing their opinion on the matter.
However, the criticism quickly spilled beyond comments about her behaviour on the show and became intensely personal.
She said the abuse continued right up until she returned to the villa for Love Island: All Stars earlier this year.
Helena said: “It’s really intense, and I remember when I did get my phone back after All Stars, I just put it down.
“One of the girls asked why I wasn’t on it and I was like, ‘Honestly, I’ve got such bad PTSD from when I turned my phone on last time. I don’t want to know. I don’t want to look.’”
The star previously revealed she wanted to undergo therapy after watching her first appearance back and seeing aspects of herself that she “didn’t like”.
During her stint on All Stars, she coupled up with Charlie, Shaq, Sean and Tommy before finding love with Carrington.
On the same podcast she revealed that the pair only lasted TWO days after the show.
She told Liv: “Uh probably about two days!”
Quickly backtracking, she said: “No, it was about a month.”
Asked about who ended the romance, Helena then revealed she had, also why she had called time on the romance.
“Me, because he was like dating other girls or something,” she candidly replied.
