HOSPITAL HO-RROR: NSW Physiotherapy Assistant Charged Over Alleged Incident Involving 84-Year-Old Patient

A man has been charged over an alleged sexual assault on an elderly patient at a hospital on the Central Coast in New South Wales.
Police allege the 26-year-old man, who was working at a hospital in Gosford as a physiotherapist assistant, sexually touched an 84-year-old woman while she was a patient at the facility.
Detectives from Brisbane Water Police District launched an investigation on 20 July, after receiving reports of the alleged incident.
The man was arrested the next day at a Gosford hospital about 3pm and taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with aggravated sexually touch another person.
He was initially refused bail and appeared before Gosford Local Court on Wednesday where he was granted bail under strict conditions.
But after police made further enquiries, he was arrested again on Wednesday afternoon.
The man was refused bail and is expected to face court again on Thursday.
